ESCALON TWO-VEHICLE ACCIDENT – JACKSON AVE AND SECOND STREET – SENDS ONE TO THE HOSPITAL.

At approximately 2:3opm today, there was a two-vehicle collision on Jackson Avenue at Second Street.  One of the drivers was sent to the hospital with unknown injuries.  It appears that the driver of the white car struck the second vehicle (green vehicle) broadside while attempting to cross the intersection.  The collision caused the green vehicle to veer off the roadway and strike a roadside tree head-on.
