THURSDAY MORNING COLLISION ON LONE TREE ROAD AT HENRY ROAD

The Escalon Fire Department, Escalon Ambulance Services and California Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision that occurred in the intersection of Lone Tree Road at Henry Road this morning.  Both vehicles were traveling east on Lone Tree Road when the collision occurred.  The crash happened when one of the involved vehicles attempted to make a right-hand turn from Lone Tree onto Henry and was struck from the rear by the other vehicle.  The impact of the crash shoved one of the vehicles into a nearby drainage ditch.  The occupants of the vehicles sustained minor injuries.  Both vehicles had major damage to them and Tow Services were dispatched to remove the vehicles.
