ESCALON SOLO VEHICLE FIRE AT MCHENRY AVENUE AND MEYERS AVENUE.

Escalon, California.

On April 28, 2016 at approximately 2:48pm.

Escalon Police and Escalon Fire Department responded to the report of a solo vehicle fire on McHenry Avenue at Meyers Avenue.  On arrival they found the vehicle to be unoccupied and smoke coming for the engine compartment.  The driver was able to exit the vehicle unharmed and was standing nearby.  Fire crews immediately got to work extinguishing the fire and had the fire under control in record time.  Traffic on McHenry Avenue was uninterrupted.  Damage was contained to the vehicle and cause of the fire was unknown at the time of this post.
