SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY AUTO THEFT TASK FORCE PURSUIT LEADS TO ARREST.

At approximately 4:38pm this afternoon, a multiple agency pursuit lead by an officer from the San Joaquin County Auto Theft Task Force ended on Lone Tree Road just east of Sexton Road.  The suspects were in a small grey Ram pick-up truck at the time of the stop.  Officers were able to take one male into custody for multiple charges including auto theft.  Another suspect, a female, was able to avoid arrest by running to a nearby dairy.  Witnesses said she hid in the milking barn until another unknown vehicle arrived and picked her up.

UPDATE:  The suspect Matthew Jesse Davis – DOB of 02/20/85 was booked into the Stanislaus County Men’s Jail on multiple charges.
