California Highway Patrol Motorcycle Officer involved in Collision.

ESCALON, CALIFORNIA • July 26, 2016 at approximately 5:44 p.m. • California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer was involved in an accident on Highway 120 and Plaza Avenue  • The accident occurred when the vehicle was pulling out from the gas station and collided with the oncoming motorcycle • CHP motorcycle officer suffered minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital • At least one occupant of the vehicle was also treated for minor injuries received from the collision • Airbags deployed with major damage to vehicle and motorcycle • Escalon Police, Fire personnel, Community Ambulance services, and California Highway Patrol responded • Some traffic delays in the area • Accident is still under investigation.
