TWO VICTIMS SUFFER GUNSHOT WOUNDS

Ceres, Calif. – On 08/11/2016, at around 8pm, the Ceres Police Department responded to a shooting in the area of Caswell @ Central, Ceres. Witnesses reported seeing two suspects in a black 4 door BMW shooting at the victim’s vehicle while chasing it. The black BMW then fled the area.
Ceres Officers located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were treated by area hospitals where one remains in critical condition and the other victim was treated and released with non-life threatening injuries.
One of the shooters was positively identified as Jesus Bustamante, 23 years of age, out of the Stockton, California. The second shooter is unknown at this time. Both firearms used in this incident are still outstanding. A warrant for Jesus Bustamante has been issued for attempt homicide.
