Sheriff’s Detectives asking for the public’s help as investigation continues on shooting death of Deputy Wallace.

Hughson, CA- As the investigation in Deputy Wallace’s death continues, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Detectives are asking for the public’s help. Detectives are working on establishing a timeline of everywhere the suspect, David Machado, may have been before and after the shooting at the Fox Grove Fishing Access near Hughson.
Detectives also want to speak to anyone who has had prior contacts or any incidents with David Machado.
Anyone who believes they may have seen David Machado at any time yesterday, or had dealings with him in the past, is asked to contact Sheriff’s Detective Josh Sandoval at 209-525-7073.
