Funeral Services for Battalion Chief David Luis

RIPON, CALIFORNIA.

Funeral Services for Battalion Chief David Luis, who passed away after a long battle with cancer will take place on Friday, December 2, 2016, at 9:00 am at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Rd. in Manteca, CA. Following the service, Chief Luis and his Family will be transported in Ripon Fire Department apparatus, in a procession heading back through Ripon to the Ripon Community Center for a Celebration of Life.

There will be a static display of fire apparatus, ambulances and law enforcement units to honor his service along Main Street from Jack Tone Road to Wilma Avenue in Ripon and again in front of Ripon Fire Station 2-1 on S. Stockton Avenue, where the procession will briefly stop on the way to the Community Center. Members of the community wishing to pay respects to Chief Luis and his family are encouraged to observe anywhere along this route.

Please expect traffic delays along the procession route: Union Road, West Ripon Road, Main Street, South Stockton Avenue and Fourth Street.
