Fire at Magnolia Ranch Care Facility 

ESCALON, CALIFORNIA.

December 28, 2016.

Escalon Fire Department responded to a fire this morning that occurred at Magnolia Ranch Care Facility.

There were 6 elderly residents and three employees at the facility at the time of the fire, which happened about 8:35 a.m. this morning.

The cause of the fire will have to be investigated.

It was reported that there was minimal structural damage and is repairable.

Repairs will have to be made and inspected before the residents can be moved back into the care facility.

Everyone was evacuated safely and Red Cross was called to help. Ambulance services were used to transport the residents to another facility.

Escalon Fire received assistance from outside agencies including Farmington Fire Department. Ripon Fire Department covered City of Escalon for any incoming emergency calls.
