PUBLIC NOTICE – NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – ESCALON CITY COUNCIL:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Escalon, will hold a public hearing at its Regular Scheduled Meeting of January 17, 2017, beginning at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard. This will take place at the Escalon Council Chambers located at City Hall at 2060 McHenry Avenue in Escalon, California 95320. The Council will hear public testimony of all interested parties for the purpose of consideration of the Proposed Urgency Ordinance No. 559, extending Urgency Ordinance No. 558 banning all marijuana uses until such time as full regulations are in effect.
A copy of the above mentioned proposed ordinance is on file for public review at Escalon City Hall, City Clerks office during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you wish to challenge the nature of the above actions in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City Clerk of Escalon, at or prior to the public hearing. All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing and express opinions or submit evidence for or against the proposal on the date, place and time as outlined above.
