PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ESCALON CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Escalon, will hold a public hearing at its Regular Scheduled Meeting of February 06, 2017, beginning at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard. This will take place at the Escalon Council Chambers located at City Hall at 2060 McHenry Avenue in Escalon, California 95320. The Council will hear public testimony of all interested parties for the purpose of consideration of the Proposed Ordinances:

An Ordinance of the Escalon City Council amending Chapters 15.06, 15.08, 15.12, 15.16, 15.20, 15.24, 15.28, 15.30, 15.32, and 15.36 of the Escalon Municipal Code, adopting by reference the 2016 Edition of the California Building Standards Code (California Code of Regulations, Title 24), consisting of the 2016 California Building Code, (incorporating and amending the 2015 International Building Code), together with certain additions, insertions, deletions, and changes thereto, the 2016 California Residential Code, (incorporating and amending the 2015 International Residential Code), the 2016 Electrical Code (incorporating the 2014 National Electrical Code), the 2016 California Mechanical Code (incorporating the 2015 Uniform Mechanical Code), the 2016 California Plumbing Code (incorporating the 2015 Uniform Plumbing Code), the 2016 California Fire Code (incorporating the 2015 Edition of the International Fire Code), The 2016 California Energy Code, the 2016 California Green Building Standards Code, the Historical Building Code, the 2016 California Existing Building Code, the 2016 California Referenced Standards Code, the 1997 Edition of the Uniform Administrative Code and the 1997 Edition of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings.

A copy of the above mentioned proposed ordinance is on file for public review at Escalon Development Services Department during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you wish to challenge the nature of the above actions in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City Clerk of Escalon, at or prior to the public hearing. All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing and express opinions or submit evidence for or against the proposal on the date, place and time as outlined above.
