NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Escalon, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, beginning at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard. This will take place at the Escalon Council Chambers located at City Hall at 2060 McHenry Avenue in Escalon, California 95320. The Council will hear public testimony, consider evidence, and reports of all interested parties for the purpose of consideration related to the following matters:
Consideration of the Vacation of the entire unimproved roadway identified as Prospect Road located between First Street and Roosevelt Street in the City of Escalon. In accordance with the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law, (Streets & Highways Code Sections 8320 & 8322).
If you wish to challenge the nature of the above actions in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Escalon, at or prior to the public hearing. All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing and express opinions or submit evidence for or against the proposal on the date, place and time as outlined above
