Escalon, California – Two-Vehicle Collision on Henry Road between Santa Fe Road and Hall Road.

The accident was reported around 5:53 p.m. this evening and occurred on Henry Road, between Santa Fe Road and Hall Road. California Highway Patrol, Escalon Fire Department, and Escalon Community Ambulance Services responded to the accident. The accident involved a dark colored GMC pick up truck and a grey Toyota Camry. The California Highway Patrol is the primary investigating agency in this accident.

It was reported by family members on scene that the driver of the grey Toyota was traveling southwest on Henry Road and the GMC pick up truck was traveling in the same direction. The driver of the Toyota was attempting to make a U-turn in the middle of the road when the collision occurred. The driver of the GMC pick up was unable to stop or avoid the other vehicle in the middle of the road and collided in a near head-on collision. The Toyota was turning around in a dip in the road and was hidden from the oncoming GMC. The impact spun the Toyota around and it came to rest in the middle of the roadway. The driver of the pick up truck was able to pull over to the side of the road.

The driver of the grey Toyota Camry was treated for minor injuries by Escalon emergency medical technicians.
