November Theft Leads to Arrest

In late November, a theft from the 1900 bock of Main Street was reported to the Escalon Police Department. Information was obtained that Bret Snider, 48 years old, from Escalon, was involved in the theft.
Detective Hardgraves along with several probation officers conducted a search of Bret’s residence. Property that was reported stolen from the 1900 block of Main Street was recovered along with ammunition, drugs, identity theft materials, and property stolen from an address on Henry Road.
On 12/5/17, Bret was located and arrested. He was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail where he was booked for grand theft, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of identity theft materials, possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana for sales, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of prescription drugs without a prescription.
