Suspicious Vehicle Leads to Arrest.

On 3/18/19 just prior to 1:00 am, Officer Smith noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of Escalon Family Dental on La Mesa Street. He contacted the occupants, Michael Moss, 25 years old from Turlock, and Melissa Vignoli, 28 years old from Modesto. Officer Smith learned that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Modesto, and took both subjects into custody.

A search of the vehicle revealed suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, burglary tools and pepper spray.

Moss was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail where he was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of burglary tools, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on $30,000.00 bail.

Vignoli was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail where she was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of burglary tools, and being a felon in possession of pepper spray. SHe is being held on $135,000.00 bail.
