Three Arested after Traffic Stop.

On October 6, 2018 at around 0930 hours, Officer Smith took a stolen property report from a customer at Les Schwab Tires.
The customer reported that he had placed a pressure washer in front of the business, which was stolen.
Officer Smith reviewed video surveillance of the theft and obtained a description of the suspects and the suspect vehicle.
At around 10:00 hours, Officer Smith located the suspect vehicle on First Street at McHenry Avenue. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted the driver, Kimberly Cory, 36 from Modesto, front passenger, Matthew Quale, 36 from Lodi, and Baray Robinson, 38 from Modesto.
Officer Smith recognized Kimberly and Matthew from the surveillance video. Kimberly was the driver and Matthew was the suspect who exited the vehicle and stole the pressure washer.
Officer Smith took the three occupants into custody and located a fixed blade knife concealed on Baray. Inside the vehicle, Officer Smith located the stolen pressure washer, along with burglary tools and prescription medication without the appropriate prescription bottles, and drug paraphernalia.
The three subjects were arrested and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail for charges including theft, conspiracy to commit theft, carrying a concealed dirk or dagger, possession of burglary tools, and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
Kimberly and Matthew are being held on $110,000.00 bail and Baray is being held on $25,000.00 bail.
